First Day of Summer

So it's been quite some time since I have written. Things have been quite interesting lately. I'm working and learning lots of new things about blogging and social marketing which is pretty cool, but it can very technical sometimes. My husband and I are doing great. Like I said there is alot going on right now. We just got back from a business trip to Amelia Island, Fl which was absolutely beautiful. My husband's company put us up in a beautiful resort, Amelia Island Plantation, where the conference was held. I enjoyed spending time by the pool perfecting my tan for the summer and finishing up Harry Potter. Yes, I realize I'm a little behind on reading the series, but I finally finished the seventh book that I was actually supposed to read last fall for my children's lit. class. Oh well, at least I read it right? Anyway, I'm open to any options for summer reading if anyone has any good suggestions. I really want to find Candace Cameron Bure's book Reshaping It All however, I have not been able to find it in any local book stores.

This week is VBS at church, and last night was the first night. I'm helping with 1st-3rd graders this week, and I'm teaching the lesson tonight. I haven't taught anything in while so I'm a little rusty, but I'm looking forward to having to opportunity to tell them a story from God's Word.

My 31 business is going well this month. I didn't have any parties the last couple of months, but I have had two great parties this month. I am really looking forward to the things that 31 will be offering in July in preparation for debuting the new fall catalog. I can't wait to see the new catalog. I am so excited about it.

Friday, my husband and I will be heading to Williamsburg, VA for another business trip. I am so excited about seeing all the fun historical things in Williamsburg including staying in a historical hotel.

I am still working on getting everything ready so I can start working on my Master's degree in August. I miss teaching and being around kids. I really miss all my kids at Cedar Springs Weekday School. I can't wait to get back in the classroom. Does that make me a geek?

Well that's the update for now. I'll try to be better at this during my travels.
